The Meat and The Potatoes

Did you ever feel like it was not "Cool" to be an American? As I was reading some of the post on CNN today more than one article said that "Now when you are in other parts of the globe you don't have to be ashamed of being American." Why would we be in the first place? I know I have never felt this way.. Ever. I have not always agreed with the Presidents did or said or didn't do or didn't say. I feel like we all have one things in common no matter what part of the U.S.A. you are in, no matter what your back rounds are, Republican or Democrat. That is Freedom. That's the best part of America is that we can vote for who we want and your voice is heard. OK, that's all I'm going to say about that. The other thing that is on my mind are the people who say "Well he's not my President!" Sorry to burst your bubble but you are wrong, he is your President. When you live in the United States of America, no matter who you voted for or didn't vote for, the man who is elected by the people for the people is the president of the country and if you don't want to have the President that was elected because he was not the one you voted for leave. All in all they stay and they bitch and moan because of the way people are using there freedom the way they want to and not how they want them to. If you think that's ruff think about how it would be if this was a Monarchic and you had no say what so ever on anything that was done. So be proud to be an American and just remember this quote "When you want to make a change, be the change you want to see happen and believe that you are making a difference."
