Vacation with the Family and The Foo Fighters...

This was the first vacation the four of us has taken together and man was it a freakin blast, no we didn't have a vacation with the Foo Fighters, but only in our iPod!  The entire time we were on the ride down to St. George around the town and our little jaunt to Zion's the boys from The Foo Fighters were always with us righting the Foo that might get in our way!  But if you ever go to Zion's like 5 miles before you hit the park entrance there is this tree that has shoes laced up and tossed on it (left).  i was very surprised that there were no Chuck Taylors on this tree, mostly Vans and Nikes, so the next time we go on vacation I am bringing some hammered chucks and adding it to the assortment of shoes.

The park, if you have never been is freaking awesome!  We just spent our time in the canyon, but there is like almost 220 miles of the park to explore, but when you have kids you have to kinda take it slow and not go on hikes that might kill them or you!

I was really surprised that the shuttle buses are fueled by propane and not regular gasoline.  I really love the idea of keeping our plant as healthy as possible.

We really had a awesome time and plan on going back to see the Grand Canyon and more of Zion's of course!  I have to give a shout out to my little boy for taking this photo. (Left)  He is such a cool kid and loves taking pictures.
