Friday Flix: The Human Centiped

So when I heard that there was a movie out that had a mad scientist who collected people to sew them together to make a human centipede I knew I was going to see it, not because it was something that I was into, but because it was something I never would have thought of.  Tom Six writer/director of the movie has created something that I believe can be described in two words, "Messed Up".

The plot is a mad scientist kidnaps and mutilates a trio of tourists in order to "reassemble" them into a new "pet"-- a human centipede, created by stitching their mouths to each others' rectums.  As horrible as that sounds to me, Dr. Heiter played by Dieter Laser make the movie so much more creepy.  As if being caught and forced into hospital beds is not scary enough, the mad doctor wakes them up just to hear them screaming, like its all one huge game.

After the surgery is done the doctor takes photos and treats his invention as his pet, playing fetch and bringing news papers to him. The police show up looking for some missing tourist and the doctor decides that he is going to add more to the pet, but I'll let you see how it ends... 

I really thought this film was rather well done even if the acting was horrible in some spot, if you like horror movies you should see it.  The Human Centipede II is due out in 2011.
